Surfacing and Scene Creation in Unreal Engine 4
Pierre the Fox lounges at his castle.
This is a surfacing exercise organized as a level an Unreal Engine 4 project and rendered with UE's Sequencer. The scene geometry consists of my fox model and components of a castle model (https://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/1089830). I created the stone wall and grass texture maps in Substance Designer and used Substance Painter to texture Pierre the Fox.

Mari and Ptex Surfacing and Portrait Lighting of Chopin’s Monument in Warsaw
Using the 3D model of the Frederic Chopin monument in Łazienki Park, Warsaw, Poland from the "Scan the World" project (https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-warsaw-chopin-3317), I reduced and smoothed the mesh in preparation for painting in Mari. In Mari I baked paint to the model and exported a Ptex texture. Using Pixar's RenderMan 22 through Maya 2018, I assigned a material using the texture and set up 3-point, portrait loop lighting (on Chopin's face around the first and last frames).
